    The more context you give upfront, the faster the turnaround. You don't need everything on this list, but the closer you get, the fewer back-and-forth questions there will be before work starts.

    How quickly will I get a response after submitting?
    During business hours, a licensed estimator reviews every submission within 15 to 30 minutes. You'll receive a flat-fee quote confirming the scope, trades covered, and turnaround time. No commitment is required at that point. You approve the quote and work begins.
    What file formats do you accept?
    PDFs are the most common and work perfectly. DWG and CAD files are also accepted, as are scanned plan sets. If your drawings are in an unusual format, email first and we'll confirm before you send. Large file sets can be sent via email or a shared drive link, whichever is easier on your end.
    How much does a construction estimate cost?
    Pricing is flat-fee and based on the scope of work. Single-trade takeoffs start at $200 to $400. Residential and light commercial multi-trade scopes run $400 to $1,000. Full GC packages for larger commercial projects range from $1,000 to $5,000. The exact fee is confirmed in writing before any work starts, and it doesn't change based on how complex the drawings turn out to be.
    Do you work on both residential and commercial projects?
    Yes. PRO Estimating Services handles residential, commercial, and industrial projects across all 50 states. Single-family homes, multi-family developments, retail buildouts, office fit-outs, warehouses, mixed-use, and more. The estimating process is the same regardless of project type. You send the plans, we confirm scope and pricing, and the estimate comes back within the agreed window..
    What happens if the scope changes after I submit?
    If the drawings are updated or the scope shifts before bid day, revisions are included at no additional cost. If the change is significant enough to constitute a fully new scope, that gets treated as a new project with its own quote. We'll flag it clearly if that's the case rather than billing retroactively.
    Can I request a rush turnaround for a tight bid deadline?
    Rush turnaround is available for most scopes. When you submit, include your bid due date and mention that you need expedited delivery. We'll confirm whether rush is available for your specific project and what the timeline looks like. In most cases, urgent scopes can be completed faster than the standard 24 to 48 hour window.
    Are my plans and project details kept confidential?
    Yes. Your drawings, project details, and pricing information are handled exclusively by the estimating team assigned to your project. Plans are not shared, distributed, or retained beyond the scope of work. If your project requires an NDA before sharing documents, we can accommodate that on request.
